Opening your garden to the public is great way of raising money McMillian Cancer Support, Parkinson UK, Marie Curie & Hospice UK but it goes hand in hand with a little worry.

I am currently in full preparation mode for the Open Garden Day, which takes place on Sunday, July 20th, from 10 AM to 5 PM. While I’m concerned about the lack of rain we’ve had this year (in London), I’m also worrying about whether the plants will go over, or will they bloom in time, how many cakes we will need, and if people will actually come. However, based on past experiences, I know that all this anxiety will be worth it. It’s always a wonderful day, weather permitting, because as well as being a great way to raise money for wonderful charities, its also a opportunity to meet people who love, plants, gardens and gardening. Look forward to welcoming to my garden
